Kampua Noodles & Sarawak Laksa in Sunway

I was seriously craving for kampua noodles recently and I had to source on-line just to find out where I can go. I'd been to the one in Sunway few years back but I want to try my luck somewhere else, preferably nearer to my place (Damansara Perdana) and of course better taste! So, thanks to fellow Sarawakians who posted quite numbers of location on-line, although there were few options but in the end I decided to go back to Sunway (behind Public Bank, next to Sunway Pyramid). Reason being, simply because we are familiar with the location. I recalled the Chinese lady who owned the stall was from Sibu, where I grew up. According to her she has been in Peninsular Malaysia for 10 years or so.
So, when i reached there i was expecting to see her but she was not there, only her two workers. I ordered 3 small kampua, 2 putih and 1 kicap (if you are Sarawakian, you'll know what I mean) and of course the beloved Sarawak laksa! I was in paradise!!! We took away the food. Interesting enough the taste is still the same. Extremely delicious and almost the same as the one you get from home! Personally, I must say it is the best kampua and laksa you probably can get in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. Well, that is also the verdict from fellow Sarawakians who had tried somewhere else, such as in Puchong, etc. My partner is a European man, he is quite fussy when it comes to foods especially fishy stuff. He dislikes the smell of Penang laksa (you know the one that smell like a dead fish inside) sorry but it's true, or wanton noodles (same reason, too fishy), but when he tried the kampua and Sarawak laksa, he loves it so much! I totally recommend this place for fellow Sarawakians who are craving for kampua and laksa. You will not be disappointed.
