Golden Palm Tree Iconic Resort & Spa, Sepang Goldcoast

We visited this resort in October 2010 (yes, it is a long due post). Anyway, I would like to share with all of you our experience back then. We love the resort, it is a new resort after all. The staffs were helpful and friendly especially the buggy staffs and the evening shift staffs at the restaurants. Anyhow, the morning shift staffs looked a bit clueless and unfriendly. Thanks to the reception team, they made our stay very pleasant. We were upgraded to the beautiful villa with 2 bedrooms. Total comfort & must try. Here are some photos.

 The downsides were, the hotel has a serious flies issue. They were flying all over the buffet spreads and pretty much everywhere. Cleanliness is very important & we hope the resort will take this matter very seriously. Secondly, the swimming pool. For such a beautiful and huge resort, it is disappointing to find out there was only 1 small pool which was shared by everybody.

The resort should have designed a pool for adults and children separately like other resorts. Lastly, the spa. We love to go to the spa but the price of the services were ridiculously expensive. We rather go to Kuala Lumpur town for better and affordable services. Anyhow, since the resort is only 45 minutes drive from our house, we wouldn't mind to go back for quick beach gateway and a beautiful sunset. Preferably during non public holiday & without dining in the resort :)
